About Me

I am passionate and grateful to be involved in helping people manage stress, improve their relationships and find more joy in their lives.  This is my third career, the first in business, then raising three children and being a student, and now working as a registered psychologist. My approach is compassionate and nurturing, providing you space and time to gain new insight, notice patterns, and live a life in line with your values and goals. I use skills from a variety of modalities, but most often from cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, and solution focused approaches. When I am not working in private practice, I can be found working in a hospital setting as a family therapist in adolescent mental health inpatient unit. I enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle, including skiing, yoga, and cooking healthy meals, while spending time with my family and friends.  I love to read and my guilty pleasure is catching up on the latest fashion or lifestyle show streaming on TV.
